Isaiah Ivy
Isaiah Ivy (c1775-1844) and wife Mary had 6 sons --- Micajah, Jeremiah, Dennis, Isaiah Jr, Binion, and Lorenzo Dow, and 2 daughters Charlotte and Susan. All came from the Clarke Co, MS, area in the late 1830s to Hunt Co, TX and then to Harrison and Panola Co, TX. From there the descendents have covered most of Texas.
Some researchers believe that a Magirt Ivy is another son of Isaiah and Mary.
